A group 14 students under Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE) programme 2014 batch, from College of Horticulture (COH) Thrissur visited our campus from 4th December to 6th December 2017.
The objective of the III days training was to provide an understanding about institutional structuring of NGO and its various activities .
On the first day of the training the students were given an introduction about CAbC and its activities by training coordinator Mr. Ramakrishnan and Dr. Shely Mary Koshy, Agriculture Scientist. The students also interacted with team leaders of different thematic and programme area .
On the next day the students had opportunity to visit field interventions sites of Cheeyambam colony and had fruitful interactions tribal community and farmers.
On third and final day of the training an interactive sessions on organic farming was arranged . Dr. V. Balakrishnan head of the institution students interacted during the post noon session.
The III day training helped the group to get an orientation about working pattern an our institution and understand how various source of knowledge can be employed to connect the missing links of our farming community .
